Zaha Hadid’s New High-Rise in Downtown Miami, “One Thousand Museum”

1000 Biscayne in Downtown Miami is the site of the new 60-story high-rise designed by famed Architect, Zaha Hadid. The project, called “One Thousand Museum,” is 706 feet tall and is being developed by Gregg Covin and Louis Birdman. Covin and Birdman have been behind several residential and hotel projects in the past throughout South Florida. 

 1000 Biscayne is across the street from Miami’s American Airlines Arena and Museum Park. Half and full floor residences are available priced from $4,000,000 to $12,000,000. Renderings of One Thousand Museum are have been described as “modern gothic.” 1000 Museum will be 60 stories tall with 83 exclusive units in the entire building. The amenities consist of two levels of pool and gym, “The Aquatic Room”, 24-hour private concierge, high security vaults, a cigar room, relaxation lounge,  a helicopter pad and much more.

 This is Zaha Hadid’s first residential skyscraper in the Western Hemisphere. Over the past 30 years, Hadid has gained international recognition for her unique, souring buildings. Having much recognition in the field, she has been awarded a Pritzker Prize and Stirling Prize. 

 Pre-construction prices will start from $900- 1000 per square foot and will continue to rise.
